After an Entertainer of the Year musical mashup that featured Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line and Carrie Underwood, followed by an electrifying tribute to Chuck Berry, Dierks and Luke kicked off a monologue that showed them hanging out in Las Vegas with stars like David Copperfield and enjoying some of the beautiful sites of the city. The two shared pictures of them taking in the nightclubs and the popular show “Thunder from Down Under.” However, the strip clubs didn’t go so well for the two, who blamed not being included in the show on the fact that they’re not Australian.

“Screw you Keith [Urban,]” Luke yelled out. “First Nicole [Kidman,] now this!”

The opening gave the show a hilarious start for the two country superstars, who are celebrating their second year in a row co-hosting the popular awards show.

And while the two mentioned the possibility of picking on some fellow country stars in their monologue, everyone in the audience seemed to come out relatively unscathed – at least so far.
