Things have taken a scary turn for the PwC employees responsible for the Oscars Best Picture fiasco

Two of the PricewaterhouseCoopers employees who took responsibility for the “Moonlight” Best Picture flub now have bodyguards.

According to TMZ, PwC decided bodyguards were necessary for Brian Cullinan, Martha Ruiz and their families following Sunday night’s mishap. Apparently, the two employees and their family members have received death threats following the Oscars incident.

The threats are reportedly coming from social media and, according to the tabloid, they are brutal.

“You fucking idiot, i will fuck you every day” and “I hope you get fired and get cancer” are among them.

Cullinan and Ruiz will reportedly keep their jobs, but will not be allowed to work the Academy Awards in the future.
