Did the “Southern Charm” cast not believe Kathryn Dennis when she said Thomas Ravenel is the father of her son, St. Julien Rambert Ravenel?

Shep Rose, the laid-back southern stud on Bravo’s “Southern Charm,” just revealed he once questioned the paternity of Dennis’ second child.

“I didn’t believe it. Nobody did. I heard it was a rumor,” he told PEOPLE.

At the start of the season, Dennis revealed that her second baby resulted in a brief reconciliation with Ravenel, but they ended things shortly after.

“I don’t know what either of them were thinking but my first thought was, ‘Is it his baby?’ That was all of our thoughts, because they weren’t dating at the time. And she was dating other people,” Rose continued.

Despite questioning who the father could be, Rose said he knew one thing for sure: “It certainly wasn’t mine. I slept with her first season, but statute of limitations tells you it can’t be mine.”

Ravenel’s on-again, off-again relationship with Dennis isn’t the only drama he is involved with this season. Rose also dished on Ravenel’s rumored fling with fellow cast member Landon Clements.

“I swear I didn’t believe it. I don’t think I still do, however where there’s smoke there’s fire. But they both say that they didn’t, and with someone like Thomas, there’s no way he can keep a secret. So if the cat hasn’t been out of the bag at this point, I don’t think there’s a cat.”
