An upload to /r/videos has Miley Cyrus fans imagining one of her famous songs in a whole new way thanks to some very creepy editing.

Reddit user smyttiej explains that her friend stripped the audio from Cyrus’ hit song “Wrecking Ball” for a school project and replaced it with some audio of her own.

“My final project that was assigned for my sound design class. Probably the most awkward thing I’ve ever created,” YouTuber chloererb says of her video.

Once the music was taken out, the friend added in some more realistic sounds, like rubble crashing from the impact of a wrecking ball and the ball itself swaying in an otherwise empty room.

The friend then hums and half sings the lyrics to the song, adding an extra creepy vibe to an already creepy video.
