“You look beautiful but you could feed many of the impoverished in our country with your ring,” the “Charmed” star tweeted at Mrs. Trump, referencing the two rings she’s wearing in the portrait — one of which is her 25-carat diamond ring that the president gave to her on their 10th wedding anniversary.

“I am honored to serve in the role of First Lady, and look forward to working on behalf of the American people over the coming years,” the First Lady said in a statement when the portrait was released.

Milano, an avid Bernie Sanders supporter during the 2016 election season, frequently shares her political views and criticisms of the Trump administration on social media. In a pinned tweet on her profile, she addressed critics who have called on celebrities to stay out of politics, saying, “Those that tell me not to tweet politics because I’m an uninformed celebrity are the same people that voted for… an uninformed celebrity.”
