As if she weren’t already going through enough, actress and The O.C. alum Mischa Barton has confirmed that she’s secured two restraining orders against ex-boyfriends who she says are attempting to sell sexually explicit photos and videos of her. She says the media in question was recorded without her permission, reports E! Online.

In a press statement made today at the law offices of the Bloom Firm, Barton said:

“I just want to say I’ve been through an incredibly hard and trying time. This is a painful situation and my absolute worst fear was realized when I learned that someone I thought I love and trusted was filming my most intimate and private moments without my consent, with hidden cameras. And then I learned something even worse: that someone is trying to sell these videos and make them public.”

The statement follows tabloid reports from earlier this week that a sex tape of the star was being shopped around to tabloids.

Barton told reporters she’d briefly dated someone in October and realized he had been recording sexually explicit photos and videos of her without her consent after they broke up. She then dated a friend of her prior ex,who attempted to forge checks in her name. He, too, acquired the sexually explicit materials after they broke up.

Mischa Barton says she is concerned about both men. “I am worried and afraid to be around either of them and do not want them to contact me,” she wrote in the press statement.
