In a new TV special on ABC, viewers will get an inside look at Diana’s final summer in 1997.
At the time of her death, she had recently divorced Princes Charles and was traveling the world with boyfriend Dodi Al Fayed while continuing her charity work and being a doting mother to Prince William and Prince Harry.
Diana’s life will be remembered by her former chef, butler, body guard, personal trainer and press secretary in the special.
“The Last 100 Days of Diana” will premiere on Sunday, May 7, at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
In honor of the 20th anniversary of her death, Prince William and Prince Harry have plans to put a statue of their mother at her home in Kensington Palace. It will be in a public area of the gardens.
According to PEOPLE, photos of the princess will be displayed in her childhood home this summer. An award has also been set up to honor her belief that young people can change the world.
