Blake Shelton is pleading for a little bit of privacy for himself and his new love, Gwen Stefani.
Even though he’s one of the most active tweeters in the entertainment business, Blake can’t tweet fast enough to keep up with all the rumors surrounding his relationship with his fellow coach on “The Voice.” There have even been reports that the couple is doing a country duets album, which seems like an insanely unlikely prospect to those who actually follow Blake’s career.
“I’ve read more complete bullcrap about my personal life, my next album and my job on ‘The Voice’ this week than ever before,” Blake tweeted. “If my life was half as chaotic as they say it is, I’d be dead…my god I wish they’d move to someone else!!! It’s so old at this point.”
When one fan pointed out that Blake and Gwen looked unhappy together in some recent paparazzi shots, Blake shot back, “I looked unhappy because there is always a herd of complete dipshits chasing us around taking pictures.”
With another season of “The Voice” premiering Feb. 29 on NBC, it looks like Blake won’t be getting rid of those pesky rumors any time soon. He expects to have a new solo album out in the coming months.
