Carrie Underwood is our hero.
Not only can she juggle everything from marriage to motherhood to country stardom, but she can also look damn good doing it.
In an “Entertainment Tonight” exclusive, Carrie shared a behind the scenes look at her brand-new video for her hit single “Dirty Laundry.” “Most of the time in front of the camera, I’m like, ‘Does it look OK?’ and ‘Am I doing everything right?’” Carrie laughs in the behind-the-scenes video. “I just remember loving ‘Dirty Laundry’ from the very first listen. The Ajax line immediately stood out. I thought that’s weird but in such a cool way.”
The 33-year-old also talked about the video treatment for the song, which is her fourth single from her “Storyteller” album.
“The video shoot today is black-and-white and it’s about emotion,” Carrie says in the interview. “It’s not following the story line too much, which is something I really didn’t wanna do. It’s a little more abstract than that.”
Carrie also shares more hints about the video, which will debut in its entirety on Oct. 12. “[The video director] had the idea to include some beautiful animals that represent the parallels between human and animal behavior and instincts, which look great interwoven with visuals of emotional women and men,” Carrie said in a press release. “It gave us a way to portray one of my songs in a way we’ve never done before.”
