Country music sweetheart Kellie Pickler flaunted her patriotic spirit on Nov. 30 by honoring veterans inside of Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, as part of the first-ever exclusive Rare Country VIP Pre-Jam concert.
The 30-year-old blonde bombshell took to the venue’s rehearsal hall stage and belted out a set of acoustic songs.
But oh boy, one moment totally made people stop in their tracks!
It all happened when Kellie busted out her spunky hit, “Red High Heels,” off of her 2006 debut album, “Small Town Girl.” It was then that she was joined by one of her biggest fans named Miles Quiroz. Together, they traded lines on the upbeat tune. At one point Miles took control of the microphone, while Kellie flashed her vibrant smile and shined with her bubbly personality.
Just like we did, Miles fell in love with Kellie’s talent when she gained popularity on season five of “American Idol.” But, he first met her in 2009 when she opened for Taylor Swift in Evansville, Indiana.
After singing with his favorite country star Miles said, “I love her realness. She’s so genuine and the fact that she invited me onstage I can’t believe she brought me up here.”
Along with “Red High Heels,” Kellie also performed hits “Tough,” “I Wonder,” and holiday tune “White Christmas.” Along with Kellie, artists Ryan Weaver and Mark Collie also took the stage.
The Rare Country VIP Pre-Jam concert helped kick off Charlie Daniels’ 80th Birthday Volunteer Jam, which features an all-star lineup including Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton, Kid Rock, Larry the Cable Guy, Travis Tritt and 3 Doors Down. The 41st annual Volunteer Jam donates a portion of its profits to the Journey Home Project.
