The 2017 CMA Music Festival takes over downtown Nashville from June 8-11. The annual four-day festival has been bringing stars and fans together for more than 45 years. Lady Antebellum is just one of the many country acts at this year’s festival. Their new album “Heart Break” drops Friday, June 9 and can be purchased exclusively at Cracker Barrel stores and online at

2016 marked Lady Antebellum’s 10th anniversary as a country music trio.

So in 2015, they seem quite confident to show off their edgier side.

And while the trio’s video for their single “Long Stretch of Love” might not be considered that edgy within today’s standards of music videos, it was a bit of a stretch for Lady Antebellum, mostly known for their sweet melodies and down home harmonies.

There’s fire, a red backlight and leather. And that stare Hillary Scott is giving us? Well, that’s just darn hot.

“‘Long Stretch’ is how we’ve been opening our set each night on the road this year,” said Lady A’s Dave Haywood in a recent press release. “So, when we went to make this music video, we really wanted to channel the anticipation and excitement we feel listening to the crowd go nuts at that first riff. When the lights go up and the fans go crazy, our adrenaline is pumping and it totally sets the energy level for the whole night.”

Yep, we were pumped all right.
