Willie Nelson shared a video for the song “He Won’t Ever Be Gone” on his socials on April 6. Performing alongside Merle’s son Ben Haggard, Willie effortlessly puts his feelings about Merle into the performance.

Country music fans will recall that Merle’s last album was the one he did with Willie in 2015 – “Diango and Jimmie.” The video also features a number of flashback video clips of the two in action.

Luckily for fans, the song is also featured on Willie’s ninth studio album, “God’s Problem Child,” which is set for release on April 28. Willie’s last solo album, “Heroes,” was released in 2012. The new album features a total of 13 songs, including the already much talked about “Delete and Fast Forward” and “Still Not Dead.”

Willie is very much so still alive and kicking. The country music legend has performed more than 100 live shows in the past year.
