One talented singer from NBC’s “The Voice” got sent home on Nov. 22, as the Top 11 got whittled down to 10 during the show’s results episode.
Prior to finding out which performers fell into the bottom two, coaches Blake Shelton and Alicia Keys joined forces with the members of their own teams to show off their musicality.

All eyes and ears were on Team Blake when it came time for them to take the stage. Together, the group, made up of Blake, Sundance Head, Austin Allsup and Courtney Harrell, put their spin on Huey Lewis and the News’ 1984 hit “The Heart of Rock & Roll.”
In this video, the 40-year-old mentor leads the group by taking the first few lines of the up-beat track. He is then joined by the rest of his team shortly after. Although country singers now make up the majority of Blake’s team, it’s clear that they naturally made the rock classic all their own. Despite making a few tweaks to the tune, the foursome paid homage to the original cut with the inclusion of a saxophone solo.
Blake Shelton had plenty to celebrate following their performance, because all three members made it through to the Top 10. And, on Nov. 28, each hopeful will belt out their best renditions of chosen songs in hopes to squeeze their way into the Top 9.
