Didn’t make it to church this week? Don’t despair.

Country group Little Big Town is here to the rescue.

In an incredible performance just officially released by the Grand Ole Opry, the foursome of Jimi Westbrook, Karen Fairchild, Phillip Sweet and Kimberly Schlapman join with country legend Vince Gill on an incredible rendition of the hymn “Why Me Lord” shortly after their induction into the hallowed hall back in 2014.

The emotion of the song was palpable within the faces of all who found themselves on that stage that night, and via the ovation from the crowd that was right there with them with each passing note.

These days, the skies are looking upon Little Big Town in favor, as the band readies to release the music video for their next single “Painkiller” and get back on the road following Westbrook’s health troubles. You may remember that Westbrook and company announced June 17 that Westbrook and the band would have to take an extended break from their regularly scheduled summer tour dates due to a polyp on his vocal cord.
