God knows that none of us truly can know what any day will hold for us. We don’t know what twists and turns will greet us as we open our eyes in the morning, and we couldn’t have a clue what we might be facing as our head hits the pillow for a good night of sleep.

And certainly His presence could be felt within the words shared by brand-new country daddy Mo Pitney, who announced on his Instagram page on Jan. 12 that his baby girl arrived a bit earlier than they had expected.
“Well, Evelyne Nadine decided to have her birthday early,” Mo wrote on his various social media channels. “Em and I had a number of scares this morning but God intercepted every one of them with His powerful sovereign love. I couldn’t be more thankful to have our baby and my wife safe and loved.”

Baby Elelyne came into the world a tad early, as Mo and his wife, Emily, were expecting her in February. But as we all know, sometimes babies just don’t listen to directions – and she is now here to begin what should be an amazing life with her mommy and daddy, who were married in March 2016.
And while we aren’t sure there is much lullaby material on Mo’s current album, “Behind this Guitar,” God knows that he will be playing his sweet girls some sweet music tonight.
