We knew it was coming. Upon their engagement on Jan. 2, country star Sam Hunt said that it wouldn’t be long before him and fiancée Hannah Lee Fowler would tie the knot. But certainly country fans would find out when the big date was and where the nuptials would take place – right?

It all started when Sam posted a new picture on his Instagram page, showing off what looks to be a ring on his wedding finger.

And when his fans noticed it, they quickly put their reporter hats on and noticed that in previous pics shared this week on his social media channel, the ring is not there.

While his team has yet to confirm anything for sure, Sam sure looks happy these days. And of course, he does have plenty of reasons to be happy. On June 1, he will embark on his 15 in a 30 Tour, bringing along openers Maren Morris, Chris Janson and Ryan Follese. Add that to the fact that he will soon be releasing a new album, and there are certainly a number of reasons why Sam might look so content these days.
Or maybe, he just is in love with his new ring.
