We’re rounding up awards season for 2016, and country stars did it up in style at the multi-genre American Music Awards held on Nov. 20 in Los Angeles. Congratulations go out to all of the winners, but especially those in our country music community, including Tim McGraw who won favorite country song for “Humble and Kind.”
And boy did Tim look handsome, as always. And boy was his date hot, as always. Only, it wasn’t his wife, Faith Hill.
As you may remember, Faith recently had surgery on her foot, so in all likelihood, she wasn’t able to endure the lengthy amount of time needed to cover the red carpet media and fulfill the obligations often expected of superstars attending award shows. Not to mention, she has her own album that she is promoting.
So, who was the hottie? Well, it was none other than Tim and Faith’s breathtaking middle daughter, Maggie, who recently left home to attend college.
Maggie might be a bit of a lucky charm for her famous father. She was also Tim’s date for this year’s CMT Music Awards, where he took home the buckle trophy in the video of the year category, again for “Humble and Kind.” Of course, Tim thanked all three of his lovely daughters during his acceptance speech, saying they inspired him every day, then he turned his attention to Faith describing her as, “My soul soldier, my lover, my wife who stands beside me.” He also thanked his management and label team, as well as gifted songwriter Lori McKenna, who penned the poignant hit song, and his incredible fans.
Afterward, Tim and his teen daughter continued their daddy/daughter date in true West Coast after-hours tradition by visiting the drive-thru of In-N-Out Burger. As physically fit as Tim is, it’s fun to see that even he cuts loose with his diet once in a while. It looks like he’s having a double-double (double burger, double cheese), fries and even a milkshake!
Now, if you haven’t been to In-N-Out before, you may not know that hidden on their sandwich wrappers, french fry boxes and under the bottom of their drink cups are biblical scriptures. The milkshake cup is Proverbs 3:5 and after Tim shared a photo of his fine dining experience, he also commented with the scripture, which reads: “’Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”
How can you not love this family?
