Are those tears in Tim McGraw’s eyes?
If they are, we’re all going to melt – right here, right now.
“Alright, this is for Gracie,” McGraw begins. “We dropped you off at college this weekend. I want you to go and…kiss ass.”
And with a smile and a subdued ovation from his band members, McGraw begins a backstage serenade to his and Faith Hill’s daughter Gracie via his 2006 hit song “My Little Girl.” Recorded live backstage at his “Shotgun Rider Tour” stop in Pittsburgh on August 30, McGraw lets his heart sing freely in the song that he co-wrote with Tom Douglas.
You might recall that McGraw brought 18-year-old daughter Gracie on stage of Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Aug. 15 to join him in singing his new song “Here Tonight.”
McGraw is continuing on his tour across North America alongside openers Billy Currington and Chase Bryant through Sept. 19 where his summer of fun will conclude in Irvine, CA at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre. McGraw is also high on the success of his latest single “Top of the World,” which is giving fans their first taste of McGraw’s upcoming 14th studio album, set for release later this fall.
