Fans of the USA show “Chrisley Knows Best” could only imagine the heartache over 19-year-old Savannah Chrisley’s car accident back in January. She crashed while reaching down to fix her floor mat and sustained serious injuries such as a fractured vertebrae, bruises and burns.

Yet now, we can see the heartache firsthand.

In the most recent episode of the reality television show, Savannah’s parents, Todd and Julie, are shown going to a car lot to see the damage to the car in person.
“Savannah, do you understand the severity of this?” asks Todd in the scene. “Literally, right now, we could be dealing with a whole other situation than what we’re dealing with. I have asked each and every one of my children to not put me in a situation where I’ve got to bury a child. I don’t care about the car, that can be replaced. But you cannot be replaced in my heart.”

And then, the tears began to flow.
“You are my child, I love you with my heart and soul and I’m not gonna bury you because God did not send me here equipped to do that,” he says. “Do you understand that? I’m not doing this anymore with you, do you hear me? You could have been dead, Savannah.”
