For east coast surfers, the word “nor’easter” has a special type of meaning. While most residents stock up on milk and bread, brave watermen take advantage of the best waves of the season. Unsurprisingly, they found one of these brave souls heading off the beach and managed to grab him for an interview. After a few brief words, he admitted that his car was parked a mile away and sheepishly asked for a ride back.

The surfer also said that this was his first time surfing, which means he’s either crazy (or a kook in surfer lingo) or decided to play a joke on the camera crew. Either way, we’re just glad that he survived to give this interview.
