Donald Trump’s speeches fit eerily well as an “emo” song

Thankfully, the “emo” generation of music seems to be a thing of the past but for those of us who grew up at time when these bands were big, waves of nostalgia arise whenever we hear the opening bars to one of the songs. The “emo” genre was best characterized by a pitifully untalented male singer, skinny jeans, bad haircuts and beneath it all a sentiment that life just wasn’t fair.

While it might not have been our original reaction, President Trump has more in common with the now antiquated singers than you might think. His hair is a little unorthodox, and he sometimes seems full of that original brand of “nobody likes me” angst. YouTube user “Super Deluxe” decided to capitalize on that similarity and “emo Trump” was born.
