Will Ferrell is a huge sports fan, and legends of his prowess are rather epic. Whenever the star shows up at sporting events, it’s always a big deal, and he’s obviously a natural face on the camera. In college, Ferrell actually studied sports broadcasting and even took an internship as a sports broadcaster.

In a break from their usual sporting news, ESPN counted down the top 10 moments in the comedian’s sport’s career. Mostly they were quick cameos, but the star’s appearance at a “spelling bee” had his friend Mark Wahlberg in stitches.
