“Friends” star Matthew Perry apparently beat up the most important Canadian alive

Canada has given the world a lot of things — though a few of them, like Nickleback and Justin Bieber, don’t make us think too highly of the country. In a moment of levity, Perry revealed that he actually went to school with current Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. He said on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” that an old classmate reminded him that they “beat up” Justin Trudeau. Perry recalled, “I think he was excelling in a sport that we weren’t, so it was pure jealousy.” Kimmel, slightly incredulous, asked if that was the same time when his Trudeau’s father was the Prime Minister, and Perry claimed, “His dad was the prime minister, but I don’t think that’s the reason we beat him up. I think he was the only kid in school we could beat up.”
