In this classic routine from his “King Baby” show, Gaffigan praises “the most beautiful thing on Earth” — bacon.
“Bacon’s the best. Even the frying of bacon sounds like applause,” he quips.
According to Gaffigan, much of bacon’s appeal lies in its ability to enhance other foods. After all, “if it weren’t for bacon, we wouldn’t even know what a water chestnut is.”
And when a salad is topped with bacon bits, it always “becomes a game of ‘find the bacon in the lettuce.'”
