Patton Oswalt tries to punch-up Mike Huckabee’s jokes–and fails miserably

Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee is a familiar face to people with their fingers on the political pulse of the nation. The 61-year-old socially conservative Republican has run for the presidency multiple times, but it’s his Twitter persona that has recently capturing headlines.

The Trump supporter has recently blasted off a number of tweets that make an attempt at comedy but mostly fall flat. Here are a few of the most cringe-worthy examples:

On Thursday night, comedian Patton Oswalt appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and tried his best to punch up Huckabee’s jokes. But the comedian, who has a domineering Twitter presence, only succeeded in proving how bad Huckabee is at writing jokes.

Huckabee responded to Patton’s Kimmel segment on Twitter, by declaring that he was “so distraught I cried like Schumer & I’ll have to take 1/2 a baby aspirin to sleep.”

If the past is any indication, Oswalt is likely to shoot off a retort so we’ll keep you updated.
