McDonald’s restaurants in the United Kingdom are trying to become more like Taco Bell. And now, one American Taco Bell is taking a page from McDonald’s book.
The fast food chain has begun serving seasoned fries at its location at 4101 Campus Drive in Irvine, Calif. The fries can be purchased alone or “Loaded,” just like Taco Bell’s famous nachos, minus the beans, according to Brand Eating.
The fries cost 50¢ by themselves, 75¢ with a side of nacho cheese, $1 for the Supreme version, and $2 for the Bell Grande size.
There was no immediate word on whether Taco Bells nationwide will serve the fries in the near future. Brand Eating reports the chain already offers spuds at several locations overseas.
