Happy Halloween, boys and ghouls!

The spookiest time of the year isn’t complete without some fun recipes! Because I absolutely hate candy corn, I decided to find another way to satisfy my Halloween sweet tooth.


Rice Krispie treats are ridiculously easy to make, so I decided to make my latest batch in candy corn shapes. I used two types of chocolate to create the candy corn-style “layers.”

You’ll need:

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies
  • 6 cups marshmallows
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • Orange food coloring
  • Dark chocolate melts
  • White chocolate melts

It bears repeating — candy corn haters out there, you aren’t alone. Plenty of us can’t stand that overly sweet, artificial flavor. And there are so many tastier Halloween treats out there!
