Two years ago, McDonald’s introduced a buttermilk crispy chicken sandwich. It sold so well that the fast-food chain decided to take it to the next level and roll out a new dish for the kid in all of us.

Buttermilk crispy chicken tenders are now being tested at more than 130 McDonald’s locations in Charlotte, N.C. — a fitting location, as Southerners love their buttermilk-fried chicken. According to Business Insider, the tenders are “made with 100% white meat with no artificial flavors, colors, preservatives, MSG, or antibiotics.”

McDonald’s also plans to release a new signature dipping sauce for the tenders.
