If you’re having trouble getting your kids to eat more vegetables, these Brussels sprouts with balsamic glaze ought to make your life easier.


The Brussels sprouts are prepared in a slow cooker, and the glaze has only two ingredients. It couldn’t possibly be easier.

You will need:

Sprouts

  • 2 pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Glaze

  • ½ cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar

Drizzle the glaze over the cooked sprouts, then sprinkle everything with shredded Parmesan cheese.
