This recipe from Crumb de la Crumb for strawberry lemonade donuts uses cake mix as its base — it doesn’t get much easier than that. Top your finished donuts with a homemade lemon glaze.
You will need:
- 1 box strawberry cake mix
- 1 egg
- 1 cup water
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- 1½ cups powdered sugar
- 2 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1½-2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
