Pop-Tarts aren’t just for breakfast anymore!

Before you get the wrong idea, I’m not advocating feeding the kids one of those sugary, jam-filled confectioneries for dinner. Instead, I make a savory taco-inspired “Pop-Tart” stuffed with beef, cheese and beans.

It’s the perfect dinner for a family on the go — you can even eat them in the car!

You’ll need:

  • 2 boxes refrigerated pie crust, room temperature
  • Filling (the sky’s the limit, but this is what I used):
    • Ground beef
    • Black beans
    • Purple onion
    • Green onion
    • Corn
    • Taco seasoning
  • Sesame seeds
  • Egg wash
  • Cheese

Our 19-year-old intern Charlie loved this recipe — and that makes it a win in my book!
