Pop-Tarts aren’t just for breakfast anymore!
Before you get the wrong idea, I’m not advocating feeding the kids one of those sugary, jam-filled confectioneries for dinner. Instead, I make a savory taco-inspired “Pop-Tart” stuffed with beef, cheese and beans.
It’s the perfect dinner for a family on the go — you can even eat them in the car!
- 2 boxes refrigerated pie crust, room temperature
- Filling (the sky’s the limit, but this is what I used):
- Ground beef
- Black beans
- Purple onion
- Green onion
- Taco seasoning
- Sesame seeds
- Egg wash
