A family-owned restaurant tops the fast food list in the American Customer Satisfaction Index Restaurant Report for 2016, which was released Tuesday.

These are America’s favorite fast-food restaurants
To compile its data, the ACSI uses interviews with about 70,000 customers each year and analyzes customer satisfaction with over 300 companies.
Customer satisfaction is measured by the accuracy of the food order, menu variety, food and drink quality, restaurant cleanliness, staff courtesy and helpfulness, and order speed.
At the top of the fast-food list is Chick-fil-A, which is well-known for its chicken sandwich.
Here is how the top 10 list shakes out for fast-food:
- Papa John’s
- All Others (smaller fast-food chains grouped into one ranking)
- Little Caesars
- Panera Bread
- Dunkin’ Donuts
- Chipotle Mexican Grill
