Cheese curds are a staple of Wisconsin-based fast food chain Culver’s. But now, McDonald’s locations in the Badger State are ready to compete.
Starting Nov. 28, all Wisconsin McDonald’s restaurants began serving battered, deep-fried cheese curds.
According to WTMJ, the curds are made with real Wisconsin cheese. They are offered in four-ounce servings.
There are no plans to sell the cheese curds in other states, and they will only be available in Wisconsin McDonald’s locations for a limited time.
Here are some of the craziest McDonald’s dishes from around the world:
- Nutella burger (Italy)
- Spicy nacho cheese wedges (United Kingdom)
- Pumpkin spice fries (Japan)
- Curly crab fries (Singapore)
- Cadbury Creme Egg McFlurry (Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom)
