For the cookies:

  • 1 1/2 cups flour

  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 sticks salted butter, softened
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 3 cups oats
  • 2 cups freeze dried apples

For the filling:

  • 2 sticks salted butter, softened
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
