Our parents and grandparents grew up in a very different time when diversity and being different wasn’t as celebrated as it is today. Now, kids are encouraged to embrace and accept their differences.

Our parents’ and grandparents’ toys were a lot different. Many dolls came in just one shape, size and color. Now, toy companies are recognizing the increased demand for dolls action figures that better reflect the kids they’re intended for.

If you’re looking for a toy for your children or grandchildren, think about getting them an American Girl doll. They might just love it!
