Bedtime is always a struggle.
“Mommy, I’m thirsty!”
“There are monsters in my room!”
“But I want to sleep in YOUR bed!”
In an effort to end the battles and help my daughter feel more comfortable in her room, I decided to do a little princess makeover.
I’m sharing a few of my favorite tips in the video above:
- Check for monsters
- Identify the REAL problem (in my case, I think she was hearing outdoor noise through the windows) … and then fix it
- Function over form
- Do what feels right for you and your child
- New bedding
- New curtains
- Monster spray (a mommy must!)
Make their room something special, get rid of those pesky monsters, and reclaim your bed!
