Splitting the cost of gas and lodging makes traveling cheap. Many millennials are using house-sharing services like Airbnb to find affordable places to stay while traveling.

Airbnb is a service that allows homeowners to rent their homes, or rooms in their home, to travelers looking for a place to stay for a few nights. Oftentimes, homeowners will list their entire houses out, allowing bigger groups to share the cost.

If you haven’t tried traveling affordably yet, take a note from your kids and give it a shot!
