Many Americans woke up to learn that Fidel Castro, the Cuban dictator, had passed away Friday night.

Live video from Fox News on Facebook shows how people are reacting in Miami, Fla., and the celebrations that are taking place over Castro’s death.

Hundreds of people are filling the streets, waiving the Cuban flag, cheering, dancing to music and chatting with each other.

At the time of writing, more than 10,885 have shared the video and thousands have commented.

“You have something to celebrate. I hope things get better for the people in Cuba!” one commenter wrote.

Another wrote, “Many will probably go back home, as many did not even want to chance going back to Cuba even after his brother took over, for fear they would be doomed. May Cuba now live in peace!!! Much love everyone!!!! From Mobile, Alabama!!!!”

Castro was 90 years old.
