During a recent interview to promote her latest film, actress Nicole Kidman told the BBC’s Victoria Derbyshire that it’s time for the country to get behind President-elect Donald Trump.

According to Kidman, now that Trump is about to take the oath of office, the country needs to support their president. Kidman holds duel Australian and American citizenship.

“I’m always reticent to start commenting politically,” Kidman cautioned.
“[Trump is] now elected and we, as a country, need to support whoever is the president,” Kidman said. “That is what the country is based on. And however that happened, it happened, and let’s go.”
Kidman’s comments differ from what many in Hollywood have said about Trump.

Trump’s longtime rival, comedienne Rosie O’Donnell, has called on her fellow citizens to try and block Trump from ever taking the oath.
“I FULLY SUPPORT IMPOSING MARTIAL LAW – DELAYING THE INAUGURATION – UNTIL TRUMP IS ‘CLEARED’ OF ALL CHARGES,” O’Donnell recently wrote on Twitter.
Unlike Kidman, O’Donnell thinks that Trump needs to be stopped.
“Delay the day – do not swear him in until it is investigated – for the love of god america – we must stop the inaugruation @frankielucy,” she tweeted.
