BroadwayWorld reports that at a Saturday evening performance of “Hamilton” in Chicago, an audience member seated in the balcony allegedly shouted, “We won! You Lost! Get over it! Fuck you!” during the number “Dear Theodosia.”An audience member who witnessed the incident told BroadwayWorld that the initial disturbance began after the rowdy audience member — assumed to be a Donald Trump supporter — was enraged by the line “immigrants, we get the job done.”

The cast remained unfazed by the outburst and continued to perform, however some of the actors were very emotional once the show ended. BroadwayWorld quotes one audience member as saying. “They didn’t break characters once. They still sang their hearts out.”

Other people who were at the performance in Chicago that night took to Twitter to explain what they saw or relay insider information.
