BBC News reports that police on the M25 roadway near St. Albans pulled over to check on a truck driver who’d pulled onto the shoulder and stopped his vehicle. They found the trucker chopping tomatoes and scallions on a baking sheet perched on his truck.

Healthy as it was, police were not amused at his choice of test kitchen, and the driver was fined. The report neither lists the amount of the fine nor the fate of the appetizer.
