French police are actively looking for anyone who planned or assisted in last week’s terror attacks in Paris. Their search led to a seven-hour raid on an apartment where officials believe the alleged mastermind of the attacks was housed. Two people were killed in the siege.

Witnesses reported heavy gunfire in the area as the lengthy raid occurred.

“They were shooting for an hour, non-stop. There were grenades. It was going, stopping, Kalashnikovs, starting again,” Amine Guizani told the Associated Press.

Eyewitnesses and news organizations shared video of the raid on Twitter as it unfolded.

A woman blew herself up with a suicide belt at the residence and another suspect was killed by police gunfire. Still, the suspected ringleader’s whereabouts are unknown.
