Whether it’s a story of a teen getting shot in the head for Snapchatting others too much or another killing his friend and taking a selfie with the corpse, or a teacher’s aide calling a special needs student a “she devil,” humans continue to find ways to ruin their own lives and the lives of others on Snapchat.

We’ve also seen what happened when a Playboy playmate took a picture of a stranger in a gym shower and shared it on social media.

The latest offense of this kind comes out of Florida because of course it did.

A 20-year-old assisted-living employee who demanded “proof” that she had recorded an 81-year-old woman and 59-year-old man having sex at the facility and shared it to Snapchat caved before long.

Alexis Williams faces charges of video voyeurism and video voyeurism dissemination, Bay News 9 reports, for recording the couple in August without their knowledge. Williams wasn’t arrested until Wednesday due to lengthy police efforts to gather evidence.

Although Williams said she “asked them, ‘Where’s their proof?’ and I won’t say nothing else until they give me proof,” investigators say she they not only have proof in the form of surveillance video at the facility, but also records from Snapchat. Police would not confirm that they had the Snapchat video in their possession.

Police also said Williams confessed and said she recorded the couple for her own amusement.

Helen King of the Area Agency on Aging condemned Williams in comment to CBS Miami.

“I think it’s deplorable. I wouldn’t want it to be someone from my own family at that assisted-living when that happened,” she said. “I hate the fact that she’s already out of jail that quick.”

Williams was released from custody the same day she was hauled in.

“You have no choice but to try to trust the people that are charged with your care,” King added. “You want to trust that the people that hire them knew what they were doing and did all the things they should be doing.”

Williams was fired from her job immediately after the allegations surfaced.
