George McGraw received a Rare Under 40 award for his work with his organization DIGDEEP.
When he accepted his award, McGraw revealed that despite having a lengthy career campaigning for human rights and working to help less fortunate individuals all over the world, he had no idea there was a huge need for clean water right here in the United States.
McGraw reminded the attendees at the event that there is currently a water crisis in Flint, MI.
On the website, DIGDEEP clearly states their biggest message, ” DIGDEEP IS CHANGING THE WAY PEOPLE THINK ABOUT WATER.”
Water is something many people do not give much thought to, and as McGraw pointed out, it is a basic human right.
We are honored to have George McGraw as one of our Rare Under 40 honorees.
