ABC News shared the photo on Facebook.

“I am honored to serve in the role of First Lady, and look forward to working on behalf of the American people over the coming years,” she said in a statement that accompanied the photo.

The first lady has faced scrutiny recently as she has not officially moved into the White House with her son, Barron.

A Change.org petition requests that she move into the White House, or pay for her own security expenses.

“The U.S. taxpayer is paying an exorbitant amount of money to protect the First Lady in Trump Tower, located in New York City. As to help relieve the national debt, this expense yields no positive results for the nation and should be cut from being funded,” the letter reads.
