President Obama has turned 55 during his final year in office.

The first lady threw a party on Friday, inviting family and stars at the White House for a night of fun.

Political guests included Vice President Joe Biden, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, Attorney General Loretta Lynch, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel.

The vice president made some rocking friendship bracelets as a gift:

Stars and performers included Beyoncé, Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar (the president’s favorite rapper), Portia de Rossi, Sarah Jessica Parker, Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Hudson, John Legend, Alonzo Mourning, Usher and Common.
