Santa Claus doppelganger tries way too hard to make it snow and gets arrested for 10 cocaine-related charges

Monroe County Sheriff's Office

One Santa Claus lookalike found himself on the naughty list after trying a little too hard to make it snow in the Florida Keys. Fifty-eight-year-old Marathon, Fla., man Fidel Gonzalez Gutierrez was definitely dreaming of a white Christmas when he was arrested on Tuesday on 10 cocaine-related felony counts.

Six of the 10 charges are for selling cocaine within 1,000 feet of a place of worship or school. The other four counts were for using a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony. According to a Monroe County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson, Gonzalez Gutierrez sold cocaine to an undercover detective on six different occasions between late February and early March of this year.

He is currently being held without bond at the Monroe County Jail. The jail’s website lists his occupation as “fisherman,” but his long white beard and red tank top in his mugshot could certainly lead one to believe that he doubles as Old Saint Nick.
