In this video uploaded to YouTube on October 2, 2016, CrazyRussianHacker shows us five easy experiments you can do with just a soda can. If you think it sounds impossible, you’ll be shocked to see how much fun you can have with such a rudimentary pantry item.
First he shows you how just a little bit of water with added heat can have an implosive effect on an empty soda can. His first attempt is a failure, but by the time he tries a third time the can completely implodes on itself! The second experiment is the least exciting, whereby he shows you that blowing on the side of an empty soda can will send it flying through the air — you can make it a little more challenging by trying to blow the can into another cup.

Science experiment number three is sure to be a hit around kids! If you slowly turn the bottom of a soda can on the surface of your skin, you can create a vacuum-like suction effect and the can will stick to you. If you have a bald head, like our channel host does, you can make soda can horns. Who wouldn’t find that funny at a party?
For his fourth experiment, he shows us how to perfectly balance a soda can on the ledge of a glass, as if by magic. It’s all about finding the perfect balance ration of soda water remaining in the can. The final experiment helps us understand once and for all the effects of sugar. If you drop a coke and diet coke into a water tank, the coke will sink straight to the bottom and the diet coke will float! Why? All that sugar!
