On Friday, Tapper continued his trend of being uniquely himself on social media when he tweeted at Breitbart News.
Breitbart tweeted out a fairly straightforward news article about Tapper’s comments about Trump’s Thursday afternoon press conference. Their Twitter tag was a little more inflammatory.
“When you make Jake Tapper drop the “Russkies hacked the election” meme. #4DChess,” the site wrote.
In response, Tapper wrote the following.
“Such a good doggy. Now go get your treat from Bannon. Arf!”

Tapper’s implication is that Breitbart continues to take marching orders from White House Strategist and former Breitbart Executive Chair Steve Bannon.
“No Fucks Tapper is the hero 2017 needs,” one fan wrote.
When confronted by a fan that he may have drawn traffic to Breitbart, Tapper replied that he “knew the risks.”
Others weren’t so happy.
“Lol Jake u do the same 4 @CNN every day! Objective journalism is dying and your no different. Such deception,” a detractor wrote.
