Everyone’s wondering why President-elect Donald Trump’s team wears mysterious, gold-rimmed triangle pins.

The New York Post discovered that it’s not because incoming White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer is a member of the Illuminati. In fact, the explanation is much simpler than that.

The pins have been handed out to members of Trump’s inner circle so that they are easily identifiable to the Secret Service when they visit Trump Tower. This way, people like senior Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway can enter and exit the building with little issue, so long as the gold-plated triangle pin is present.
